Tactical Realism Campaigns, formerly known as ETO-League, has officially opened their website. The tactical realism community was a niche community that started in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Day of Defeat which moved to the Call of Duty series. Due to the Call of Duty franchise's steadily decreasing PC support, we have seen many of our community members moving to Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad. Tactical Realism Campaigns (TRC) plans to bring our style of competitive campaigns to the Red Orchestra series. Traditionally, our campaign style has been a move based (or 'Risk' style) campaigns where units moved their team across the map and the outcome of battles was decided in an 8v8 match. Units would fight against one another for strategic points and attempt to cut off enemy resources and overcome the opposition. While our scenarios are taken from historical battles, their outcomes do not always follow the historical record, due to the dynamic nature of online gaming; sides win and lose not according to their true historical records, but rather their players' skill. After a campaign finishes, the victorious side chooses its next move.

TRC aims to be an accessible campaign based on the Eastern Front, one which lets teams decide which side they will fight for. Whether it will take place in the traditional 8v8 matches or in larger battles is to be determined by the community. We feel that, given the Red Orchestra series's realistic nature, Heroes of Stalingrad has the potential to attract units, clans, and teams that do not necessarily consider themselves to fall under the 'Tactical Realism' genre.

We also feature a section called 'Affiliated Units' which serves as a directory for teams looking to recruit or scrim. TRC plans to run both North American and European campaigns. We will also feature a custom roster module for easy access to your roster as well as your opponents' rosters. Each side (Axis/Allies) with have their own set of private forums for discussing their next possible moves as well as sharing intel about their opponents. Becoming familiar with the oppositions tactics can mean the difference between victory or defeat.
